December 2009 Monthly Newsletter

December's meeting we will be at Lime Creek Nature Center,

 we will hold all monthly meetings there until next April when we will move back out to the outdoor range.

Work at the outdoor range continues. Dave Johnson is heading up the team that is building the additional eight benches and cover. Dave is going to hold several varmint benchrest matches starting next spring. These are a challenging match but a lot of fun. There is a stock rifle class along with several other custom classes to compete in. All you need is twenty rounds plus sighters, a ten power scope or bigger and a bench rest or bipod.

Club officer elections are going to take place at December's meeting. We are looking for nominations for Vice President, Secretary, Range Officer and two Directors. If you or a member you know are interested please attend December's meeting or get in contact with a club officer.

I know it seems a little early to be talking about 2010 updates but we will hold our first orientation updates directly following the January meeting. If you are a first time member that joined in October, November or December of 2009 you will need an orientation update for 2010 to get your key. The gate lock will be changed January 9th, 2010. We will hold orientation updates after every general membership meeting spring, summer and fall...

I need to emphasize that our shooting hours are dawn till dusk except Sundays and holidays when they are 8am till dusk. Also we need to sign in with our complete name or first name and ID tag number - please try to write legibly.
