THE GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING WILL BE HELD THE SECOND THURSDAY OF JANUARY ONLY BECAUSE OF THE HOLIDAY FALLING ON THE NORMAL NIGHT

January's general membership meeting will be the first chance to complete your range orientation and receive your 2009 outdoor range key. The lock to the outdoor range will be changed Saturday, January 10th. We will try and hold an abbreviated meeting so everyone can get their key and ID cards and get home at a reasonable time. PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR S.O.P FOLDER WITH YOU TO THE MEETING TO BE UPDATED AND SIGNED. A NEW ONE WILL COST YOU!

Indoor shooting has been running several weeks now. There is still room for more shooters. If you are interested in shooting indoors please attend the next general membership meeting for details, contact Jim Klemme for pistol or Steve Hays for rifle or just stop out and take a look at what's going on. Four position rifle will run thru the middle of March and pistol thru the end of March. Start times are 5PM till approximately 8PM. The cost to shoot is $4 per night or $32 for a season ticket (approx. 18 nights).

Elections were held at the December meeting with Bob Busche and Jim Klemme as directors, Todd Cash as executive officer, Dirk Jacobson as treasurer and Steve Hays as president.

Last year the club lost two members. Ron Hauge was a member that enjoyed cowboy action shooting - the club will miss him. Jim Rish besides being a club member also was a good friend of mine since high school - he stood by me one night many years ago when I couldn't have made it without him. I will always be in his debt. Our club is full of fine people - we don't realize how good until they leave us.

I hope the New Year brings everyone and their loved ones happiness and wellbeing. Good shooting in 2009 to all.
